WORLD RAFTING CHAMPIONSHIP 2016

From October 30 to November 5, 2016 the World Rafting Championships took place in Al Ain on the beautiful artificial park of Wadi Adventure. 27 countries gathered nearly 90 teams with the help of the IRF (International Rafting Federation) to compete in all categories of men and women.

While the event has organized a variety of events, the IRF’s goal is to show that rafting has the power to enter the Olympic trials. By relying on the increasingly common man-made rivers around the world, the sport has a good chance.

We are proud to be a part of this adventure by collaborating with Wadi Adventure and the IRF members who have selected our Raft Avanti 380 to accompany the challengers to the podium steps.

Now, see you in 2017 for the next edition, which should take place in Japan! From our side, we hope that the French will also be there to give of their arms.
