PVC Adhesive - Bostik 1220 125mL

Bostik 1220 is a transparent liquid contact adhesive with a nitrile formula, designed for bonding various materials: PVC, plasticized PVC, ABS, methacrylate, polyester, metals, fabrics, wood, glass, and rubber. It is particularly recommended for repairing PVC liners (swimming pools, ponds).

Its toluene-free formula offers immediate and powerful adhesion, with a drying time of approximately 5 minutes and a maximum open time of 10 minutes at +20°C. Optimal mechanical strength is reached after 72 hours.

Application is done with a brush or notched spatula, using double bonding (120 to 150 g/m²/side): one coat is applied to each surface, allowed to evaporate until no longer tacky to the touch, then the two surfaces are brought into contact with strong pressure for a minimum of 15 to 20 seconds. The minimum application temperature is +10°C (substrates at a minimum of +15°C).

The product can be stored for up to 18 months in its original, hermetically sealed packaging, protected from frost, between +10°C and +30°C. Tools and fresh adhesive can be cleaned with Bostik Agosolvant solvent.

Caution: Flammable product containing butanone — use in a ventilated area, away from any ignition sources, with gloves and eye protection.
