Designed for challenging whitewater runs, the RAPTOR 455 Aquadesign raft is a high-volume model combining robustness, stability, and safety. Made of ultra-resistant Hypalon Achiles®, it can accommodate up to 11 people and offers exceptional durability against abrasion, UV rays, and hydrocarbons. Its massive 50 cm tubes, 207 cm width, and impressive rocker provide a high, maneuverable, and safe ride, even in the most demanding whitewater conditions.

Thanks to its high-volume design, the RAPTOR 455 offers optimal buoyancy and enhanced visibility for both the guide and crew. Its self-bailing floor efficiently drains water for smooth sailing, while its three removable thwarts with bar attachments allow for easy configuration adjustments to suit various needs. Whether for a professional expedition, a sporting outing, or a commercial trip, it adapts perfectly.

It features a reinforced construction: Hypalon Achiles® 1100 DTEX for the tubes and upper part of the base, complemented by Hypalon Achiles® 1680 DTEX on the lower part. A Black Gum Sheet reinforcement protects the bottom of the tubes against impacts and abrasion. Its non-slip Hypalon coating, supportive foot cups, and six reinforced handles ensure comfort and practicality in all situations.

For maximum peace of mind, the RAPTOR 455 features double-chamber tubes, offering twice the safety of a traditional raft. Its Leafield Marine A6 overpressure valve ensures controlled inflation. Sixteen reinforced D-rings with a lifeline complete the safety-focused equipment. With a capacity of 11 people (1200 kg load), this raft is the ideal partner for guides and thrill-seekers.

A well-maintained RAPTOR raft made of Hypalon will provide you with many years of safe and intense adventures. To preserve its performance and longevity, adopt these best practices:

• Rinse after each outing

After each use, rinse your RAPTOR thoroughly with clean water.

✔️ Remove sand, mud and debris to prevent premature wear of the fabric.

✔️ Use a soft sponge to avoid damaging the surface of the Hypalon.

• Dry completely before storing

✔️ Never store your raft while it's wet.

✔️ Let it dry completely in the shade: Hypalon is quite resistant to UV rays, but prolonged drying in direct sunlight is still not recommended.

✔️ Check that all chambers and the bottom are dry to prevent mold and bad odors.

• Application of talc

✔️ Before prolonged storage, apply talcum powder to the fabric.

✔️ This prevents Hypalon surfaces from sticking together and helps to extend the life of your raft.

• Suitable storage

Store your RAPTOR in a dry, ventilated place, away from extreme temperature variations.

✔️ Avoid any proximity to heat sources (radiator, engine).

✔️ Protect it from rodents and insects.

• Pressure and inflation

Maintain the recommended pressure of 2.5 PSI .

✔️ Overinflation weakens seams and valves.

✔️ In warm weather, slightly reduce the pressure to compensate for air expansion.

Preventive maintenance

✔️ Regularly inspect valves, seams and bonding areas.

✔️ Immediately repair any micro-perforations using a suitable Hypalon kit.
