Designed for the most demanding rivers, the RAPTOR 340 Aquadesign raft is a concentrated blend of robustness and performance. Made from ultra-resistant Hypalon Achiles® fabric, it combines safety, comfort, and maneuverability to accommodate up to 6 people. With its generous 173 cm width, 44 cm tubes, and impressive rocker, it offers a high, stable ride perfectly suited to the most intense whitewater.

• Versatility and performance

The RAPTOR 340 stands out thanks to its innovative design, which enhances both safety and the paddling experience. Its double-chamber tubes provide twice the safety of a conventional raft, while its self-bailing floor ensures efficient water drainage. Its high profile allows it to tackle rapids with exceptional maneuverability and increased visibility, offering both the guide and crew an optimal experience.

• Reinforced construction

Made from 1100 DTEX Hypalon Achiles® for the tubes and upper bottom section, and 1680 DTEX Hypalon Achiles® for the lower section, the RAPTOR 340 offers maximum resistance to abrasion, UV rays, and hydrocarbons. A Black Gum Sheet reinforcement under the tubes effectively protects against wear from rocks and friction. Its Hypalon carrying handles and reinforced D-rings with a lifeline complete a piece of equipment designed to last, even in the most extreme conditions.

• Comfort and safety

With its removable thwarts secured by clips, the RAPTOR 340 easily adapts to different crews and configurations. It features foot cups at the front, anti-slip reinforcement around the perimeter, and a Leafield Marine A6 overpressure valve, guaranteeing comfort, stability, and safety in all conditions.

A well-maintained RAPTOR raft made of Hypalon will provide you with many years of safe and intense adventures. To preserve its performance and longevity, adopt these best practices:

• Rinse after each outing

After each use, rinse your RAPTOR thoroughly with clean water.

✔️ Remove sand, mud and debris to prevent premature wear of the fabric.

✔️ Use a soft sponge to avoid damaging the surface of the Hypalon.

• Dry completely before storing

✔️ Never store your raft while it's wet.

✔️ Let it dry completely in the shade: Hypalon is quite resistant to UV rays, but prolonged drying in direct sunlight is still not recommended.

✔️ Check that all chambers and the bottom are dry to prevent mold and bad odors.

• Application of talc

✔️ Before prolonged storage, apply talcum powder to the fabric.

✔️ This prevents Hypalon surfaces from sticking together and helps to extend the life of your raft.

• Suitable storage

Store your RAPTOR in a dry, ventilated place, away from extreme temperature variations.

✔️ Avoid any proximity to heat sources (radiator, engine).

✔️ Protect it from rodents and insects.

• Pressure and inflation

Maintain the recommended pressure of 2.5 PSI .

✔️ Overinflation weakens seams and valves.

✔️ In warm weather, slightly reduce the pressure to compensate for air expansion.

Preventive maintenance

✔️ Regularly inspect valves, seams and bonding areas.

✔️ Immediately repair any micro-perforations using a suitable Hypalon kit.
