The Hypalon® FALCON 420 Red Line Aquadesign raft is the ideal companion for the most technical descents. Designed to accommodate up to 9 people, it combines stability, robustness and responsiveness, with a slimmer and narrower design (177 cm) that allows it to easily navigate tight passages and maintain a smooth line in rapids.
Its streamlined profile and more rounded hull offer more precise access to trajectories and exceptional crossing capacity, even when the water level is low.

Its Hypalon® Achiles 1100 DTEX construction for the tubes and upper bottom guarantees maximum resistance to abrasion, hydrocarbons, and UV rays. The lower bottom, made of Hypalon® 1680 DTEX, is reinforced to withstand impacts and friction against rocks. Black Gum Sheet abrasion-resistant fabric under the tubes provides additional protection, extending the boat's lifespan even in the most extreme conditions.

The FALCON 420 features three removable thwarts secured by cylindrical rods for quick assembly, four main air chambers, three inflatable thwarts, and a Leafield Marine A6 overpressure valve for added safety. Six reinforced handles facilitate carrying, while 16 D-rings allow for secure attachment of lifelines and gear.

A well-maintained FALCON raft made of Hypalon will provide you with many years of safe and intense adventures. To preserve its performance and longevity, adopt these best practices:

• Rinse after each outing

After each use, rinse your FALCON thoroughly with clean water.

✔️ Remove sand, mud and debris to prevent premature wear of the fabric.

✔️ Use a soft sponge to avoid damaging the surface of the Hypalon.

• Dry completely before storing

✔️ Never store your raft while it's wet.

✔️ Let it dry completely in the shade: Hypalon is quite resistant to UV rays, but prolonged drying in direct sunlight is still not recommended.

✔️ Check that all chambers and the bottom are dry to prevent mold and bad odors.

• Application of talc

✔️ Before prolonged storage, apply talcum powder to the fabric.

✔️ This prevents Hypalon surfaces from sticking together and helps to extend the life of your raft.

• Suitable storage

Store your FALCON in a dry, ventilated place, away from extreme temperature variations.

✔️ Avoid any proximity to heat sources (radiator, engine).

✔️ Protect it from rodents and insects.

• Pressure and inflation

Maintain the recommended pressure of 2.5 PSI.

✔️ Overinflation weakens seams and valves.

✔️ In warm weather, slightly reduce the pressure to compensate for air expansion.

• Preventive maintenance

✔️ Regularly inspect valves, seams and bonding areas.

✔️ Immediately repair any micro-perforations using a suitable Hypalon kit.
