The EXPLORER II Aquadesign inflatable canoe is a benchmark model for sporty whitewater descents.
Designed for professional rafters, clubs and experienced practitioners, it combines robustness, stability and safety in a boat made entirely of Hypalon® 1000 DTEX.
This professional material guarantees exceptional durability, high abrasion resistance and perfect performance in extreme conditions.
At 345 cm long and 90 cm wide, the EXPLORER II offers remarkable stability without compromising maneuverability. Its glued and stitched thwarts ensure excellent structural rigidity, while its self-bailing bottom keeps the boat light and responsive, even in rapids.
The rubber reinforcements under the tubes protect the boat from friction on rocks and prolong its lifespan.
Its 3 + 2 air chambers, 5 Aquadesign RC valves and Leafield Marine A6 overpressure valve guarantee reliable inflation and optimal safety.
With a maximum load of 220 kg and a weight of 24 kg, it comfortably accommodates two people and their equipment.
Available in blue or red, the EXPLORER II canoe combines performance, safety and durability for challenging and controlled descents on Class I to IV rivers.

A well-maintained Hypalon canoe or kayak will provide you with many years of safe adventures. To preserve its performance and longevity, adopt these best practices:
• Rinse after each outing
After each use, rinse your boat thoroughly with clean water.
✔️ Remove sand, mud and debris to prevent premature wear of the fabric.
✔️ Use a soft sponge to avoid damaging the surface of the Hypalon.
• Dry completely before storing
✔️ Never store your canoe or kayak while wet.
✔️ Let it dry completely in the shade: Hypalon is quite resistant to UV rays, but prolonged drying in direct sunlight is still not recommended.
✔️ Check that all chambers and the bottom are dry to prevent mold and bad odors.
• Application of talc
✔️ Before prolonged storage, apply talcum powder to the fabric.
✔️ This prevents Hypalon surfaces from sticking together and helps to extend the life of your boat.
• Suitable storage
Store your canoe or kayak in a dry, ventilated place, protected from extreme temperature variations.
✔️ Avoid any proximity to heat sources (radiator, engine, flame).
✔️ Protect it from rodents, insects and sharp objects.
• Pressure and inflation
Maintain the recommended pressure of 2.5 PSI (unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer).
✔️ Overinflation weakens the seams and valves.
✔️ In warm weather, slightly reduce the pressure to compensate for air expansion.
• Preventive maintenance
✔️ Regularly inspect valves, seams and bonding areas.
✔️ Immediately repair any micro-perforations using a suitable Hypalon kit.
