The Avanti 400 Aquadesign raft accommodates 8 people and combines a construction that is twice as light and economical as a classic raft with a more flexible fabric for greater flex and maneuverability. Measuring 405 cm long and 195 cm wide (96 cm interior), it features three removable 32 cm diameter thwarts , an inflatable finned floor and self-bailing holes, as well as a Leafield A6 overpressure valve and a 4+3+1 air chamber configuration. Weighing only 60 kg, it has a maximum load capacity of less than 950 kg.

Designed for professional rafters, the AVANTI 400 Aquadesign raft combines capacity, comfort, and cost-effectiveness. It belongs to the most affordable range while boasting a construction that is twice as light and economical as a conventional raft. The more flexible fabric promotes flex and mobility, resulting in smooth maneuvers and predictable handling.

Designed to carry 8 people, the AVANTI 400 measures 405 cm long by 195 cm wide, with an internal width of 96 cm. Its 49.5 cm diameter tubes provide reassuring support and excellent stability. On board, ergonomics and modularity are key features: 3 removable 32 cm diameter thwarts to adjust the seating to suit the crew, 12 D-rings for lifelines and tie-downs, 6 carrying handles, and self-bailing holes for continuous water drainage. For safety, the 4 + 3 + 1 air chamber redundancy and the Leafield A6 overpressure valve ensure effective protection against pressure or temperature variations.

The hull features an inflatable finned floor, ensuring stability and performance. For precise handling, the rocker is measured at the bow and stern using two reference points: 30 cm (from the ground to the base of the tubes) and 80 cm (from the ground to the top of the tubes). The indicative fabric weights confirm the overall robustness: 1450 g/m² for the floor and 1100 g/m² for the tubes. Durability is further enhanced by a proven reinforcement package: upper tube reinforcement in 1000 DTEX fabric, upper section of the finned floor in 1000 DTEX, lower section of the finned floor in 2000 DTEX, 1000 DTEX reinforcement lining from the lower section of the tubes to the rubbing strake, and a ribbed reinforcement strip under the tubes.

In everyday use, the AVANTI 400 remains lightweight (60 kg) and efficient, with a maximum load of less than 950 kg. Available in yellow and red, it stands out as a versatile and durable option for bases and clubs looking for a spacious, stable 8-seater ready for intensive use.

A well-maintained AVANTI raft will provide you with years of safe adventures. To preserve its performance and durability, adopt these best practices.

  • Rinse after each outing

After each use, rinse your AVANTI thoroughly with clean water.

✔️ Remove sand, mud and debris to prevent premature wear of the PVC.

✔️ Use a soft sponge to avoid scratching the coating.

  • Dry completely before storing

✔️Never store your raft wet.

✔️ Let it dry completely in the shade, as prolonged exposure to the sun accelerates the aging of the fabric.

✔️ Check that all chambers and the bottom are completely dry to prevent mold and bad odors.

  • Suitable storage

Store your AVANTI in a dry, ventilated place, away from extreme temperature variations.

✔️ Avoid any proximity to heat sources (radiator, engine).

✔️ Protect it from rodents and insects.

  • Pressure and inflation

Maintain the recommended pressure of 2.5 PSI .

✔️ Overinflation weakens seams and valves.

✔️ In warm weather, slightly reduce the pressure to compensate for air expansion.

  • Preventive maintenance

✔️ Regularly inspect valves, seams and bonding areas.

✔️ Repair any micro-perforations immediately using a suitable kit.
