The WRF Competition Race Raft is a craft developed in direct collaboration with the World Rafting Federation to precisely meet the official requirements of international competition. Ultra-light, responsive, and featuring an aggressive shape, it has been selected as the official raft used in all WRF-organized global events.

Designed primarily for training facilities, training centers and sports teams, this model allows for the faithful recreation of navigation conditions encountered during international championships.
Each element — tube volume, rocker, reinforced self-bailing bottom, thwart positioning, general geometry — was defined according to the WRF specifications and optimized thanks to Aquadesign's expertise.

This craft offers precise handling, good acceleration, and stability suited to technical courses. Thanks to its 15-position adjustable thwarts, integrated footcups, and long, flat frame, the raft guarantees efficient crew positioning and dynamic navigation in speed, sprint, or slalom conditions.

The Raft Competition Race WRF is intended exclusively for training and sports preparation use.

⚠️ It is not designed for commercial professional use, such as operation in rafting bases or rental, as its ultra-light construction is optimized for performance and not for intensive general public use.

For clubs, federations and teams wishing to train under the same conditions as during official events, the Raft Competition Race WRF is now the essential reference.

A well-maintained WRF Competition Race raft guarantees optimal performance and a lifespan that meets the demands of athletic training. To preserve its technical qualities and durability, adopt the following best practices.

1. Rinse after each session

After each use, rinse your raft thoroughly with clean water.

✔️ Remove sand, mud and impurities to prevent premature wear of the 1100 DTEX PVC.

✔️ Use a soft, non-abrasive sponge to avoid damaging the coating or the bonding areas.

2. Dry completely before storing

✔️ Never store the raft while it is still wet.

✔️ Let it dry completely in the shade , as prolonged exposure to UV light accelerates the aging of technical materials.

✔️ Ensure that the tubes, thwarts, footcups and self-draining base are completely dry to prevent mold and odors.

3. Ideal storage

Store the WRF Raft in a dry, ventilated and protected environment.

✔️ Avoid areas subject to extreme temperature variations.

✔️ Keep it away from heat sources (engine, radiator, heated wall).

✔️ Protect it from rodents and insects that could damage the PVC or the straps.

4. Inflation and pressure

Strictly adhere to the recommended pressures for the tubes and the base.

✔️ Overinflation can damage seams, valves and sensitive areas.

✔️ In hot weather, adjust the pressure to compensate for the natural expansion of air.

✔️ Use the Leafield A6 overpressure valve as a safety measure, but do not rely on it to compensate for overinflation

5. Preventive maintenance

✔️ Regularly inspect valves, welds, bonding areas, thwarts and footcups .

✔️ Immediately repair any micro-perforations or peeling with a suitable repair kit.

✔️ Check the cleanliness of the self-draining holes and the finned bottom to maintain optimal drainage.
